The Representatives of the SES of Ukraine Took Part in the First Webinar on EADRCC Consequence Management Command Post and Field Exercise “NORTH MACEDONIA 2021”

The event is one of the stages of preparation for the EADRCC Consequence Management Command Post and Field Exercises “NORTH MACEDONIA 2021”, which is scheduled for 20 – 24 September 2021 in Ohrid, Northern Macedonia. The overall objective of the exercise will be to enhance synergies and strengthen the national capacity of NATO member and partner countries to respond to emergencies.

The representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine took part in the first webinar on EADRCC Consequence Management Command Post and Field Exercises “NORTH MACEDONIA 2021” (hereinafter - the Exercise). The joint event, organized by NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) and the host of the Exercise, the Crisis Management Center of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, took place on 27 January 2021.

The webinar is one of the stages of preparation for the EADRCC exercise “NORTH MACEDONIA 2021”, which is scheduled for 20 – 24 September 2021 in Ohrid, Northern Macedonia. The overall objective of the exercise will be to enhance synergies and strengthen the national capacity of NATO member and partner countries to respond to emergencies.

The organizers of the webinar presented the lead-in scenario, Exercise sites and the Base of Operations. They acquainted the participants with the qualification requirements for different categories of participants, including experts, DISTAFF, national teams and representatives of international organizations, and presented a further action plan for training preparations.

The event was attended by more than 150 participants, including representatives of the EADRCC, the Crisis Management Center of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, NATO member and partner countries whose national teams will participate in the Exercise, international organizations and other stakeholders.
