The daily work of rescuers is primarily aimed at preventing the occurrence of various emergencies, in particular, by conducting outreach work among the population. Nevertheless, citizens are not always responsible for their own safety and the well-being of their families, which can have tragic consequences.

In the past 24 hours alone, on January 12, there were 69 fires in the residential sector!

Violation of fire safety rules, non-compliance with recommendations for proper operation of heating and furnace heating appliances, malfunction of electrical and gas equipment - the root causes of deaths and injuries in fires in the private sector. So, on January 12 in the Lviv oblast in the village of Ivano-Frankove, Yavoriv district, in a private house due to a malfunction of the furnace heating were poisoned with carbon monoxide and killed 2 people, one of them - a child born in 2016.

At the same time, in the Odesa oblast, in the city of Belgorod-Dniester, a gas cylinder exploded in a private house without subsequent combustion. As a result, 2 people were injured and hospitalized.

On the same day, in the Zaporizhia oblast in the town of Tokmak, a fire broke out in a five-story building, where a room and a balcony in one of the apartments were occupied on the 2nd floor. As a result of the fire, heavy smoke formed. Firefighters took 10 residents out into the fresh air. Fortunately, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is being established.

And in the Donetsk oblast, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a farm building in Pokrovsk. A man born in 1960 died as a result of the fire.

Dear citizens! Be extremely careful, take care of the proper fire condition of your own homes, be responsible and strictly follow the recommendations of experts, namely:

In the event of a fire or other emergency, call the Rescue Service immediately at 101!
