Taking care of children's safety, teaching them to behave properly in extreme situations is an urgent task for all adults, because children are the future of the nation. It is very unfortunate that the irresponsibility and inadequate attention of parents to teaching their children the rules of safe living lead to very tragic consequences.
To prevent negative situations, rescuers make every effort, namely: carry out active outreach work, in particular, in educational institutions, arrange educational tours for children, as well as participate in other activities with the participation of children.
For example, in Poltava region, SES specialists and police officers visited the Myrhorod gymnasium to remind children of the rules of safe behavior during the winter holidays. Emergency workers told high school students the rules of fire safety in the home, the rules of safe behavior on the ice, when detecting suspicious or obsolete explosives, the dangers of using pyrotechnics during the Christmas holidays. Firefighters emphasized that pranks with fire could cause a fire.
In turn, in the Odesa oblast, Podolsk rescuers conducted classes on compliance with fire safety rules in the autumn-winter period with teachers and school staff from the village of Lipetsk, Podolsk district. Firefighters reminded teachers of the possible causes of fires and emphasized the correct algorithm of actions in case of their occurrence. SES officers also spoke about the use of fire extinguishers, as well as the dangers of using pyrotechnics.
And in Mykolayiv, on the eve of Christmas, rescuers visited the sponsored kindergarten № 87 “Vyshenka” in the regional center and congratulated the children on Christmas. The child and the educators hospitably greeted the SES fighters and sang holiday carols, wishing the adults peace, goodness, mutual understanding, happiness and good health. Rescuers sincerely thanked the boys and girls for the festive atmosphere and gave sweets and toys for the Christmas tree.
