NUCDU staff took part in an international webinar on emergency response of various kinds

On June 18, the staff of the Department of Special Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine Olena Tarakhno and Maksym Kustov took part in an international webinar on emergency response of various kinds. The webinar is organized by the five most powerful networks of rescuers around the world - the European Organization for Combining Rescue Centers eNOTICE, the international platform for cooperation of fire safety and civil protection FIRE-IN, the European network of emergency responders NO FEAR, construction organizations the dynamic interdisciplinary community of civil protection practitioners DAREnet and the international network of civil protection professionals in the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions of MEDEA. By the way, NUCDU is a member of the eNOTICE organization, and work on including the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine in other international civil defense organizations is currently underway.

The webinar was also attended by experts from 18 European countries. They considered the organization of emergency response to epidemics, floods and chemical and radiation threats. An important conclusion that all participants of the webinar have made is the need to integrate the efforts of different countries to increase the capacity to respond to large-scale emergencies.
